Are streaming and piracy really an issue to artists and record labels?

That is the question I try to concur within this post.

Music piracy has always been an issue for artists, having any work stolen from someone should have ramifications. Some musicians compare streaming to music piracy but there are major differences and advantages for artists that are available when audiences listen to music legally. While music sales are still a big profit margin for artists, these days the revenue has shifted from its classic ways. Artist and record labels have to be adaptable and find new ways to make money instead of depending on their fans to legally purchase their music.
